We are submitting the expert opinion on TePP Poposal entitled “Ultrasonic Digital Foetal Heart Monitor” from Mishra Medical Electronics (lately named as Hi Qua Surgical Equipments), Gurgaon the demonstration for which was taken on 6.09.06. Point wise comments are as follows:-

1. Whether the instrument will enhance the capabilities of medical Instrumentation
   
   Answer: No, it will add another brand of similar category of equipment.
   
   
2. Whether the technology will improve the healthcare of rural India.
   
   Answer: Technology is already existing.
   
   
3. Whether the proposal is based on innovative idea
   
   Answer: Technology is already existing.
   
   
4. Whether the technology is already available in the country
   
   Answer: No.
   
   
5. Whether the cost estimates are realistic
   
   Answer: Cost estimates can not be commented .
   
   
6. Whether the proposal idea is desirable/technically feasible
   
   Answer: Yes, it is technically feasible.
   
   
7. Whether the proposal merits consideration
   
   Answer: It merits consideration as any other small scale industry product without any special ecommendation.
